I study and teach several topics related to cognition and social behavior. I am particularly interested in the role of goals and motivation in human behavior and performance, habit formation, and experiences of personal autonomy when interacting with human and artificial agents. My work is published in fundamental and applied journals. I am founder of the GOALLAB, consisting of a team of scientists that conduct research and teach several topics of Cognition and Social Behavior.
